Beau Johnston

Design Technology Specialist

Born and raised on the West side of Maui, Beau's connection to the island drives his passion to create meaningful work throughout his career. Although young, being only 23 years old, his time spent developing connections with the ocean, land, and people of Maui allows him to understand the synergy of the island and our community. 

 

After high school, Beau decided it was time to "get off the rock", and he enrolled at the University of San Diego in 2018. There he was drilled with architectural theory, drafting, and model making, allowing him to respect the full scope of our practice as architects. "Organicism in Architecture", his favorite course, opened his eyes to the relationship nature has with the built environment, as the material emphasized that buildings should be inspired by the natural world allowing them to live in harmony with nature.  Four years later, he graduated with a BBA in Real Estate, a minor in Architecture, and a whole lot of gained insight into his professional career. 

 

At Kasprzycki Designs, Beau is a Design Technology Specialist, focused on designing custom residential homes and commercial spaces. He plans to soak it all in, and learn as much as he can in pursuit of becoming a licensed architect here in Hawaii.
